The singer is vehemently denying recent allegations made by blogger Funky Dineva, who claimed Braxton had an affair with “Love & Hip Hop” star Mendeecees Harris, the husband of Yandy Smith. Braxton released a strong statement to shut down the rumors, calling them “hurtful and completely untrue.”

The rumors stemmed from a short film for Braxton’s “Heartbreak Retrograde” EP, where Mendeecees played her lover. Funky Dineva alleged that the on-screen chemistry was a reflection of real life, claiming he witnessed Braxton and Harris kissing intimately in a car and at Braxton’s home. Dineva also suggested that Harris and his friend were present during Braxton’s medical emergency last year, which left her with missing teeth and in a pool of blood.

Braxton, 48, took to Instagram to address the claims directly.
