It looks like the divorce proceedings between Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker are heating up, and things are getting complicated. After 11 years of marriage, Kandi Burruss officially filed for divorce on November 11th, but Todd Tucker has now responded with some significant demands of his own.

Custody Battle and Prenup Challenges

According to reports, Todd Tucker is seeking primary physical custody of their two children, Ace (9) and Blaze (6). He filed a counterclaim on November 26th, asserting that the children are currently in his care and residing with him in Georgia. Tucker’s reasoning centers on Kandi’s extensive out-of-state work obligations, which he claims will require her to be away for several months.

Beyond custody, Tucker is also pushing for a review of their prenuptial agreement. His legal team alleges that he signed the prenup under duress and without his own legal representation present, despite prior communications about negotiations. They claim the final agreement was presented to him just before the wedding, without consultation with his team.

Demands for Asset Division and Potential Alimony

Tucker’s filing also requests a division of all marital assets, both real and personal. While he states he’s committed to resolving these issues cooperatively and in good faith, he’s prepared to seek primary physical custody, joint legal custody, and final decision-making authority if an agreement can’t be reached amicably. He also acknowledged Kandi as a loving parent and expressed hope for a respectful co-parenting resolution.

If the prenuptial agreement is ultimately deemed unenforceable, Tucker is also seeking potential alimony. This adds another layer of complexity to the divorce proceedings, which were initially documented on Kandi’s spin-off series, ‘Kandi’s Wedding,’ back in 2014.
