Drake Celebrates 39th Birthday with New RIAA Diamond Records

Happy Birthday to The Boy! Drake is celebrating his 39th birthday today, October 24, 2025, and he’s doing it by breaking yet another incredible record. While fans eagerly await his upcoming album “ICEMAN,” his existing catalog is keeping him firmly in the commercial spotlight, thanks to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

Most Diamond-Certified Songs Ever

Drake has officially extended his own record for the most Diamond-certified songs by any artist. This means he boasts the highest number of tracks that have achieved RIAA certification for 10 million equivalent units sold. The latest additions to this elite list include “Passionfruit,” “The Motto” (feat. Lil Wayne), “Nonstop,” “Headlines,” and “Nice For What.”

But that’s not all! His critically acclaimed 2011 album, “Take Care,” has also earned a Diamond certification. This monumental achievement brings Drake’s total number of Diamond-certified singles to 15 and his overall Diamond-certified records to 16, marking his first album to reach this prestigious status.

A Catalog of Hits

Drake’s previous Diamond-certified songs read like a greatest hits compilation: “Best I Ever Had,” “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” “SICKO MODE” (with Travis Scott), “Love Me” (with Lil Wayne and Future), “Life Is Good” (with Future), “God’s Plan,” “Work” (with Rihanna), “Hotline Bling,” “No Guidance” (with Chris Brown), and “One Dance” (with Wizkid and Kyla).

More Platinum Achievements

Drake’s commercial dominance extends beyond Diamond certifications. He also received several other significant RIAA certifications: “Views” is now nine times platinum, “Nothing Was The Same” is seven times platinum, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late” is five times platinum, and “For All The Dogs” has gone three times platinum.

  • “Rich Flex” (feat. 21 Savage) – five times platinum
