DJ Akademiks Mocks Kendrick Lamar’s Song Removals

Hold up, did Kendrick Lamar just hit the delete button on his own tracks? Social media went into a frenzy today when fans noticed that Kendrick’s album ‘GNX’ and his Drake diss track ‘Euphoria’ were mysteriously removed from Apple Music. To make things even stranger, the music videos for ‘Not Like Us’ and ‘luther’ disappeared from YouTube.

The Online Frenzy and Akademiks’ Take

This sudden vanishing act left fans scratching their heads, wondering if Kendrick was retracting his statements against Drake or if something else was going on. The timing, especially with a new project reportedly dropping soon, only added to the bizarre nature of the situation.

Enter DJ Akademiks. Never one to shy away from an opinion, he chimed in on social media with a sarcastic take. Akademiks suggested that Kendrick was deleting his diss tracks to prepare for his upcoming album, ‘ICEMAN,’ implying Kendrick was tired of being a ‘hater’ and was actually excited for his own new music.

The Plot Twist: Music Returns!

But here’s where the story gets even more interesting. Just moments after the online buzz reached its peak, the missing music started reappearing. The ‘Not Like Us’ and ‘luther’ videos were back on YouTube, though their view counts were reset, forcing them to start from scratch. ‘Euphoria’ also made its return to Apple Music.

As of now, ‘GNX’ hasn’t returned to Apple Music, but it’s still available on other platforms like Spotify. The exact reason behind these temporary removals remains a mystery. Was it a technical glitch, a label decision, or something else entirely? We’re sure the conspiracy theories are already in full swing!

A Lingering Mystery

While DJ Akademiks’ sarcastic commentary provided some entertainment, the real reason behind the digital disappearing act is still unknown. It’s a strange turn of events in the ongoing narrative surrounding Kendrick Lamar’s recent musical output. Fans will undoubtedly be keeping a close eye on any further developments.
