Must-Watch Apple TV Shows This May 2026

Are you an Apple TV subscriber looking for your next obsession? Well, you’re in luck! Apple TV+ has been quietly serving up some seriously good content, and May 2026 is no exception. They’re dropping four new shows that are definitely worth adding to your watchlist. Let’s dive into what’s new and exciting!

New Dramas to Keep You on the Edge of Your Seat

First up is “Unconditional,” premiering on May 8th. This series kicks off with what seems like a typical vacation, but quickly takes a dark turn. It follows a young woman, Gali, who gets arrested for drug smuggling in Moscow. Her mother, Orna, refuses to believe the charges and dives headfirst into a dangerous world of crime and corruption to clear her daughter’s name. If you love a good, stressful thriller, this one sounds perfect.

Then, on May 20th, get ready for “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed.” This show sounds like a masterclass in escalating chaos. Paula, a recently divorced mom navigating a custody battle, witnesses something she shouldn’t have. Instead of staying out of it, she starts investigating, only to find herself entangled in blackmail, murder, and a conspiracy far bigger than she imagined. Prepare for a wild ride!

A Nostalgic Journey and a Soviet Space Race Twist

If you’re looking for something a bit less intense, “Propeller: One-Way Night Coach” arrives on May 29th. This series offers a more relaxed viewing experience, following a young aviation enthusiast named Jeff and his mother on a cross-country trip to Hollywood. Along the way, they encounter unexpected detours, fascinating characters, and pivotal moments that shape Jeff’s future. It sounds like a heartwarming, easy-to-watch story.

Also premiering on May 29th is “Star City,” a show that offers a fascinating new perspective on a familiar historical event. It flips the script on the space race by exploring the Soviet side of the story. You’ll follow cosmonauts, engineers, and intelligence officers as they race to be the first on the moon, all while battling immense pressure. It’s always great to see a different angle on historical events like this.
