Sammie described Ray J’s behavior as ‘off,’ with the conversation veering into territory that felt far from friendly. ‘He was talking weird,’ Sammie explained. ‘I’m like, ‘Okay, you’re a demon. I’m an angel. It’s cool.’ You feel what I’m saying? … So he’s like, ‘Oh, I’m a demon. You’re not a demon. You’re a good boy.’ Just talking weird.’

The real issue, according to Sammie, was that the weirdness didn’t stop even when he tried to shut it down. ‘And that was weird when he kept saying weird s**t… I’m like, ‘Why do you want to put me to sleep and then want me to sleep with you?…Stop saying it.’ The tension in the room was palpable, and despite others trying to de-escalate, Sammie felt the situation was spiraling.
