The superstar rapper recently sat down with podcast host Bobbi Althoff and directly addressed the persistent rumors that he’s undergone ab surgery or a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). Despite the online chatter and the viral nickname ‘BBL Drizzy,’ Drake firmly denied having any cosmetic procedures done.
Setting the Record Straight
During the candid conversation, Althoff didn’t shy away from the topic, telling Drake directly that people believe he’s had work done. Drake’s response was a clear and simple ‘No.’ He even playfully questioned his appearance, asking if his ‘wagon looked crazy’ or if he had a ‘fatty,’ laughing off the speculation.
Drake also touched on one of the viral selfies that seemed to fuel the rumors. In the photo, he appeared shirtless and sweaty, showcasing very defined abs. He joked that perhaps Facetune might have played a role in the enhanced look.

The ‘BBL Drizzy’ narrative isn’t new. For years, fans have joked about Drake’s seemingly ‘too perfect’ physique in certain photos. The speculation gained momentum a few years ago when rapper Joe Budden humorously suggested Drake had surgery to define his abs. Even amidst his high-profile beef with Kendrick Lamar, a track titled ‘BBL Drizzy’ was released, further cementing the nickname in pop culture. However, it’s evident that Drake views all this talk about cosmetic surgery as pure comedy and doesn’t take it too seriously.
